Thursday 29th May Scenes

We were at Nenek Thursday andhung out in the living room as Hannah Cobanna came to visit... Syazwan was there too and off to KK on 30th May for the weekend... he two boys are such good friends.. singing to Nenek's plucking of the guitar... song? Kau Kekasih Awal Dan Akhir... hahahahha out pulanggg....
At night was dinner at Fusion and there Mumzie and Amal hehehhehehe....Eme was there too...

Watching Nemo

A secret every parent must know. Raiyan watches Finding Nemo everyday , it's our feel good time.. less hyper and you can get him to sit for 2 hours straight!....... He will cry at least 5x and will laugh his head off at 2 scenes everytime...
Smiling at funny scenes like when Dori had forgotten that she was supposed to show Marlin where the boat went... "You got a problem? Do ya?? Do ya??? Do yaaaahh?"

A scene when the school of fish were imitating Marlin cracks him up (loudly) everytime! All the scenes when they were showing Sydney, EAC, trench, octopus etc
Be prepared for this..Raiyan cries everytime he watches the scenes when Darla shook Nemo, Nemo got taken away and all the sad scenes.... check out below...28 May watching Nemo fun (same funny scene)

Smartboard Training

Totally worth my time! But I had to miss a Writing Skills workshop....tskkk.. one best feature of the smartboard is.... when you draw a circle over the item you want to show students, it will automatically magnifies the spot.. and like a spotlight image, the area outside the circle is darkened... and when you draw a square over the texts or pictures you want to show students, it will automatically enlarge what you put within the square.

Oh and.... you can highlight words digitally, just like how you would highlight texts on a piece of paper.... too bad we only have two Smartboards and the current Form 5Sc1 and 2 are using the classrooms daily. I'm sure it will get sorted out soon.... Also, our DP said the English Reading Room will get 6 DVD Recorder, some computers, a 21 inch tv set or was it four 41 inch tv sets.. hahahah perasan.... Mumzie couldnt hear what he really meant to say...he had food in his mouth. *snicker*

Spoilt Bruneian Kids

It sure is fun and easy to be students after the millenium... just look at this classroom.. it has 8 fans, quite small actually the room is... it is also airconditioned! It has a whiteboard and opposite it is a Smartboard..and costs about BND$8,000.......... functions just like the interactive whiteboard.. you write using coloured pens, red blue or green ( the interactive whiteboard has one pen only, it costs about 14,000 pounds).

The touch-sensitive display of the Smartboard connects to your computer and digital projector to show your computer image. You can then control computer applications directly from the display, write notes in digital ink and save your work to share later. Cool stuff!!

Silenced RL

I felt really guilty putting him the cot, because as he threw the contents of his baskets all over the floor, I picked him up and placed him in the cot... just to seehis reaction. He didn't fight back! He stood in his cot staring at me in silence... poor boy... and watched tv quietly... so I hugged him and we both watched Cars in bed...
He fell asleep watching tv.. almost never happens! He was beside me.... and suddenly... shut eyes for him.......
